Since 2023 SpanPath has presented its product at the ATSSA Convention and Traffic Expo, where it was very well received. The team showcased the benefits of using SpanPath systems to protect pedestrians and maintain pathway access during construction maintenance and utility projects.

When heavy equipment, like a dozer or crane, must cross a sidewalk, it can crack the surface and make it unsafe for pedestrians. Similarly, when fresh concrete has been poured, it needs protection while curing to prevent damage. SpanPath provides a solution that helps eliminate pedestrian detours by protecting existing walkways and covering freshly poured concrete.

SpanPath is a modular system that allows interlocking aluminum segments to be installed directly over an existing pathway. The system can be configured to accommodate virtually any length and can remain in place for as long as your project requires.
This system also eliminates sidewalk gaps, creating a continuous and safe pedestrian pathway.
Supports state Departments of Transportation strategic highway safety initiatives by enhancing pedestrian protection and work zone safety.
With over 25 years of structural and civil engineering design experience, creator Gevin McDaniel understands what works and builds solutions that perform.
SpanPath allows for compliance with the MUTCD to the greatest extent possible, keeping pedestrians in line with the original pathway with no additional distance or roadway crossings needed.
In 2023, SpanPath was featured in ATSSA’s New Product Rollout Program (NPRO) and proudly received the Innovation Award.
